It's feature rich, has great specs for a laptop it's size and is very functional. Everything runs smoothly thanks to the decent processor and the relatively large amount of RAM. <br />The touchscreen is bright, vivid and responsive. <br />Battery life is satisfactory though, personally, I would prefer a 12 cell lithium-ion (but this can always be purchased separately). <br />Wi-fi is great with the inclusion of Wireless n technology (as well as b & g) allowing for faster wireless connection speeds. <br />320GB hard drive is a lot of storage space considering, for most people, the laptop won't be your main PC. <br />The new Windows 7 operating system offers many new and fun experiences, as well as the ability to perform tasks efficiently. <br />Integrated web-cam and mic allow for video conferencing on the go. <br />The fingerprint scanner is very cool and provides very stringent security for your system and even websites. <br />My only peeves with the product would be the fact that there are only 2 USB ports and the absence of Bluetooth. <br /> <br />In general, it's a great laptop/tablet PC and I doubt you'll feel cheated if you purchase it. <br /> <br />Update: The unit actually has 3 USB ports and it does tend to get fairly hot at times. I was looking for an upgrade to my trusted ASUS 1000HA. You know, Win 7, larger screen, DVD player and wow, a touch screen! I’ll keep it short.

PROS:

Sexy Specifications.

Nice 12.1″ Screen.

Great keyboard

Nice fit and Finish.

Not too heavy.

CONS:

I could not connect to the wireless router. I struggled for while. I then placed the Touchsmart within 5 feet of the router. Hey! I could connect. Wow! Good. I called HP tech support. They were helpful and suggested I download the latest drivers. This immediately put me into an ill spot. What? Are you shipping me a BETA product, and for it to work I need to download the latest drivers? Well I did download the latest wireless driver and guess what? It helped! Yet, I still could not get as far away as my trusty 1000HA. Oh well.
