It plays music.
I have yet to figure out why people can’t hear me talk into it but I can hear them.
The plug is humongous
Volume won’t go very high before it starts sounding bad
I don’t know what that stand is good for but it aint my phones ( BB Curve, Pearl, HTC Fuze & Nokia E51 )
Every 1 of them fell out.
But for around 50 its ok.

I just ordered two of these because the price was so good, 80% off. One was intended as a gift. Well I think I know why they are so discounted; iHome puts a ‘features’ sticker on the speaker grill that, incredibly, doesn’t come off (easily). You’ld think they would use those info stickers made of plastic film that peel right off. No, they used regular paper with an adhesive that doesn’t want to let go. With some work and some solvent you’ll get it off, but is that really what you want to be doing for 30 minutes after unpacking a new product? Also, the sound isn’t that great.

I use this product paired with a HTC Sprint Mogul. Voice quality on the speaker phone is more than acceptable but not stellar. Where this product really shines is the stereo music function. I listen to a couple of audio books a week on my Mogul. With the IHC5S I can set a sleep timer before I go to bed which is the one function I missed from my iPod. Also works great with [..] if you are an XM subscriber. I used to bring my XM radio in from the car now I just use my Mogul and the IHC5S.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. This is perfect if you want to listen to your MP3s from your iphone through bluetooth or to use it as a speakerphone. The bluetooth range is pretty good. I can change songs from the other room. The sound quality is good. I hooked up my laptop to it b/c the speaker quality is better & louder.

I saw this item come up on [...] – I was looking for a speaker for my kitchen. The pairing to my iphone and the ability to receive calls through the system works great. The alarm clock portion is not that good. For [...] no tax and free ship. I recommend it.
