The item listed was black, we were notified the item available was white after the purchase,we agreed to take a white radio. The radio works but the ipod dock doesn’t always nor does the alarm.

I bought this iPod Dual Alarm Clock for my nephew’s Christmas present. He loves it and uses it every day. The sound is a bit tinny, but expected from the lower end price.
The clock alarm works great and he enjoys being able to use his iPod music for his alarm.

Easy to use. Dislike that when the radio is playing the station replaces the time, but I haven’t read the direction their may be a setting to fix that. Also the blue clock face lits my whole room up – I prop a DVD case in front of it when I am going to sleep. The sound is excellent, it is easy to switch back and forth between the radio and ipod as the alarm or just listening.

Everything is fine basing on how much I paid. But it took me a couple of hours to make the ipod work. I have a ipod mini that I got in year 2004. After two month’s use, I just threw it in a corner of my house without touching it anymore. Recently my kid wants to play it and her monther doesn’t want her to use the eraphones. So I bought this one for her. The ipod screen shows “OK to disconnect” and it doesn’t go away after it is docked on this device. I did some search in internet, I found nobody says this device has this kind problem, so I suspect the problem is caused by my ipod. After some useless work, I decided to download iturn sorfware and installed it on my computer to see if it can connect PC properly. Then I connected my ipod to PC, now the PC said there is NEW version software for my ipod. so I upgraded the software and disconnected it from my PC, and docked it on this device and IT WORKS.
So if you have an “old” ipod and it doesn’t work after being docked, try to update software of your ipod first. It may fix the problem.

I bought this item for my wife for her birthday. She wanted one that could be used in the bedroom and this fit the bill. The sound that is produced by this system is simply awesome. It sound every bit as good as a Bose wave radio. There is one major downside to it though. The clock is backlit by a blue light that, even on the low setting, is bright enough to illuminate the entire room. We just turn it to face away from the bed and then it can be used as a night light. My wife does have a problem learning how to adjust the alarms as well but that is just owner/operator error. Over all this is a very good sounding radio that works very well.
