I bought this card reader to put pictures from my cellphone onto my computer,
Vista. I liked how small it is and how easy to use. The price was not shocking like some other card readers. I also like the color. Finally, my photos are on my computer.

I bought this to use with my new camera. I use it with SDHC cards 8GB 10x speed and it works fine. Much faster than my old cards and reader.
If the SD cards don’t slide into the slot easily there is a fix:There is a metal guide just inside the SD slot that needed bending up a bit with the tip of a small screwdriver so the cards could insert easily. No problem to do this fix. This is probably why some other reviews of this product say the cards are difficult to insert.

I am pleased with it’s compactness, ease of use and it’s very responsive.
Thanks a lot.

I’m able to read and write SDHC cards with my unit, however it only runs at a little over 1Mbyte/sec — or about USB 1.1 speeds. I’ve tried it in multiple computers (all with functioning USB 2.0 ports), multiple SD and SDHC cards, etc. It just refuses to work at any speed faster than a slow crawl. It works, but you better be patient!

Worked great. Out of the box, plugged it in with my camera chip in it and transferred my pix… great.
