The seller Azeezulla is scamming Amazon buyers. IOmega has confirmed to me that this product does not do what they are claiming. Amazon is no help and is hiding behind the seller. So when you see Amazon A to Z Guarantee that means absolutely nothing. Sham on Amazon for doing shady business! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM AMAZON WITH A TO Z GUARANTEE

What can I say? I really hoped this would be a fantastic piece of kit yet here I am writing to complain bitterly about it.
Worst user interface ever!
Wasted hours of my life trying to get this thing to work.
My advice? Don’t buy it. You will have more fun eating burning hot lava in Hawaii.

It is a joke to claim the device has print support. It doesn’t work for multifunction printer. I called Iomega support and they confirmed that. This drive does NOT support multifunction printer!

I have been working in IT for past 15 years and have never seen such a bad product. I had to return the Iomega Home Media as it was of poor quality. The face cover came broken. The storage device used to crash randomly. Only time it worked for few minutes was it was restarted. Highly unreliable. Stay away!

The low price of this device was the selling point for me. I wanted network storage without having to upgrade my router. After plugging the drive into my router I had to run the bundled software. The software created some default folders like “music”, “photos”, “videos” and gave them a drive number automatically. After reading the instructions and trying different things I realized that the only way to create a folder on the drive is to do it from the machine on which the software was installed. I could create sub-folders from any computer on my network, but the highest-level folder can only be created on one??? I was immediately annoyed and concerned that if they had this going on I would not be happy with my purchase. Sure enough the next thing I tried to do was access the folders from the other machines on my network. Well, the software brought my home network down! ALL THREE of my computers lost access to the router, which meant no local or internet access. Not really what I was hoping for from a network storage drive! I tried bouncing my router and that fixed the problem. But there is no way I could justify to myself keeping something that’s supposed to be an asset to my network, but instead crashes it. So I sent it back. Maybe with a different router or network settings it would work better. But I really hated the idea of having only one machine that could be used to create folders. And I was suspicious that the other features would work as advertised based on what I had seen already. I found a Lacie for around the same price (actually a few dollars cheaper), model 301389u I believe. When I get that installed and configured I will post a review of it as well.
