ION Tape2PC USB Cassette Deck I don’t know how this product would perform since Amazon failed miserably in their shipment. The item was apparently lost and they agreed to re-ship “at no additional charge”. Really! They lose something…It should be understood that they will absorb any additional charge. To further add insult to injury, they tell me to wait another 8 days while they send it standard mail because they can’t expedite to a PO Box. Really! Ever hear of Priority Mail and Express Mail? Both USPS products available at PO Boxes. As a retired postal manager, I have in-depth knowledge of their products. Maybe Circuit City can find a way to get it to me. If you order this product, I hope you have better luck receiving it.

There is no headset outlet to monitor recordings! All pre-recorded tapes sound like the Chipmonks! Neither the rca or usb outlets work! There is an anoying clicking sound when you record! Save your money and buy a regular tape deck and a soundcard. You’ll be glad you did. WHAT A P.O.S.!!!

I could not get this product to work with my Mac.
Fortunately, I was able to figure out a way to get my cassettes transfered to the digital realm.
I just use this product as a cassette player.

Not the expected results. Very bad quality. Go for PLUSDECK or record line in with musicmatch or adobe audition.
