I read most of the other reviews here before purchasing this boombox. Overall, it’s a good product for the price. You can play many types of media. If you have an older digital camera you’ll probably have an SD card to you can play MP3s off that instead of CD. It’s probably not loud enough to satisfy most teenagers, but it’s good enough to fill a room and the sound quality is solid for the price. The way I looked at it, I could always keep this boombox around for playing older formats.
Viewer Screen: Criticism here has gone too far. It’s true that the view angle is limited, but it’s not a big deal. When you are within the viewing angle, text is clear and easy to read.
The controls for navigating the MP3 player (off the SD card) are crude which makes navigating large directories a little cumbersome and time consuming.
I’ve only had it a week. It doesn’t look cheap, but I doubt it would survive much rough use. Again, it’s about what you’d expect for the money.
Overall, if you want to be able to play multiple formats, you can’t really this boombox for the price.

Haven’t owned the player long enough to fully evaluate, but it seems ok at first use. About what I expected based on the price. Note to anyone buying this, it won’t play .mp3 CDs where the mp3s are encoded as VBR (Variable bit rate). It will play VBR mp3s from the USB interface, but not from a CD. VBR files can be converted to CBR (which will play), use your favorite search engine to figure out how.

Very nice radio,cd player, tape player for the price. If you’re looking for a big bass sound, this isn’t for you. We keep it on a nightstand next to the bed and it serves its purpose very well as an all around home radio.

I am so disappointed with this manufacturer. I mean, this boom box radio looks cool- it has several features all in one radio. However, the power cord has a defect. It made it so inconvenience for me because I had to keep tapping on the power cord that connects to the back of the radio or support it to the wall before it could work. As you can see, the boom box looks very cool but, watch out for the power cord when you order it because it’s a pain. I can’t count how much time it has gotten disconnected in the middle of listening to a very important songs or channel. Also, it is so difficult to get on hold of the manufacture for a replacement.
