I thought everything was great. The nightstand cradle is awesome and the phone fits nice and solid but the first time I tried to use the battery pack I learned that the connector is loose and keeps losing contact. So the battery pack charges the phone if you leave it perfectly still on a desk or hold it just right, but forget about putting it in a pocket or purse and expect it to charge your phone like it should. Mine only made an incessant bloinking noise as it constantly lost and reconnected with the battery. I really had high hopes for this, but I guess I’ll have to ship it back and try something else. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve had bad luck a few times now with kensington accessories. The $100 FM modulator sounded terrible and the chargers only like half of my Ipods. I think I’ve finally learned my lesson. I’ll update after the return to let you all know how it went.

I like this this product a lot. My iPhone was dead and the charging dock completely restored my battery in less than 30 minutes. The Mini battery pack worked excellent while I was at the airport with a 2 hour layover. I watched a full movie and watched another on the plane with no problems.

I was looking for a combination docking station that would charge my iPhone, sync my iPhone and charge a small external battery pack for it for when the internal battery gets low (during the ocasional very long day with lots of iPhone use). The Kensington works great for that, my iPhone is sitting on my desk charging and synced with music I haven’t listed to yet.
I’m very pleased so far.
