I ordered this to power a fiber optic Christmas tree. This is a DC current adaptor NOT AC as advertised. This adapter is fine for TV’s or monitors, however if you need to power a motor, you need a REAL AC adapter.

One of my monitors (Fuji) suddenly stopped working. I was ready to toss it when I realized the led on the power supply was not lit.
I didn’t want to spend a lot if the monitor was dead.
After reviewing a number of adapters, I chose this one as it advertised itself to be in the spec range I needed. 12 v 5A. and wasn’t some off-the-wall unknown brand I never heard of.
Plugged it in and the old monitor is working again
Now only time will tell for how long.

So far this seems to be a nice replacement for anyone who has had a monitor power supply go out with a need to fix it. Like the title implies: it works as it is supposed to work.

This is “universal” for the lcd screens, but for my LG, I have to change the plug. I think Kinamax can be more UNIVERSAL for every monitor if they have sell more kind of plug for the adapter, it’ll cost a dime but very usefull.
