Klipsch Reference Series RC-35 – Center channel speaker – 125 Watt – 2.5-way
Product Description
The RC-35 is a high-performance center channel designed primarily for use with other Reference Series loudspeakers, which it matches both cosmetically and sonically. However, exceptional clarity and neutrality make it a superior choice for any home theater system. The speakers horizontally oriented cabinet is compact enough to fit comfortably on top of most television sets but large enough to provide extended bass response. And front porting allows it to be installed in a cabinet or flush against a wall without loss of sound quality. An adjustable foot enables the RC-35 to tilt up or down for aiming into the listening area. Because of its high powerhandling capability and unusually high sensitivity, the RC-35 can sustain significantly higher output than most conventional center speakers, which is important, since the center channel typically carries about 60% of the total energy in a surround movie soundtrack. The amplifier power required is less than half… More >>

I didn’t listen to this speaker before I bought it. I got this a lot cheaper. Compared to my Polk CS10 this center channel blows it away. It was even cheaper than the POLK CS10 is going for! I basically like any Klipsch Reference Series speaker I have heard. Over all I am happy. However IMO Klipsch makes WAY! better center channel speakers than the RC-35. I can see myself selling this for an upgrade down the road or replacing my POLK CS10 on my secondary system with it, but for the price I paid or even the listed price you can’t go wrong if you are on a budget like me.
READ the specs. Measure twice and buy once because it is large like other reference models made by Klipsch . I thought I had plenty of room and then some. After I was done leveling it with the built in leveling device ” a bolt, nut and a rubber footing attached to the bolt” It barley fit since I jacked it up high, do to the speaker sitting rather lower than I anticipated. It jacks up rather high and I was able too get the top of it around 2 inches below the bottom of the TV. It completed my system for now.
I like the voice projection for TV watching, movies, and live concerts handles what I throw at it very well. The Klipsch RC-35 really brings out the voice better than my Polk CS10. I have to admit there is a little mud involved. However blows any Synergy I’ve heard away, IMO. I don’t have to crank my system anymore to understand every word during quit scenes with background noise. Voices really shine. Their is room for more clarity in voices, but that’s just me being picky.
I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone on a budget, and with the room for it. A friend of mine built a real nice corner shelf above his TV and mounted it flush with the top of his TV. In his case he used the leveling bolt that is built in the rear of this speaker to slightly level it down toward the listener very clever and looks nice the way it was done.

The Sound in this speaker is phenominal but it is a large center speaker. I had to search for a TV stand to fit it so [...]made by wood Tech (CMV-66 is a wonderful real wood entertainment center that actually fit my TV, speakers, video game systems, DVR, this center speaker and my Receiver). This Center I would highly recommend but if I could buy my speakers all over again I would buy this line of speakers but in an entire set with floor stands, rears, and the center and then added a sub and rears for a 7.1 set up. This series of speakers have been discontinued but are as good of quality and the new lines but cheaper. This speaker line also looks very sleek. I recieved it from this seller in a small amount of time with perfect packaging.
