So far, this is a really nice printer for the money. I have been using it for a week now, doing all kinds of different projects and am really impressed. I think the wireless is the best feature. I used to have my old printer networked through one of my computers, but I had to leave the computer running all the time to be able to print. With the new printer, it doesnt really have a “home” machine, so I can let unused computers go to sleep now and save electricity. I had some issues getting connectivity with my Vista laptop at first, but figured it out with the great help features on Kodak’s website. If you are having trouble getting the wireless to connect, it is probably due to firewall software on your computer. Kodak has specific instructions available on it’s website for many different brands of firewall or internet security software. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

After years of using a Canon I decided to take the price of replacing the ink cartridges two times and buy this new printer instead. The quality is the same, this one is less bulky and much easier to use. The wireless printing works great, and there’s even a printing app for my iPhone. On top of all this I can get the scanner of my desk too. But the absolute best part is the cheap ink! Now I can actually let the kids print more often.

The good:
Improved photo quality and speed over previous model; 2.4-inch LCD display; easy to use Home Center software.
The bad:
Fickle paper input tray; expensive; lacks auto-document feeder, USB port and scanner hinge.
The bottom line:
Kodak’s ESP 5250 multifunction printer isn’t marred by the errors of its predecessors, but it still needs improvement before it can keep up with the competition. Right now, its pleasing photo quality and satisfactory output speed don’t justify the $170 price tag and lack of features.

Just picked this one up at Walmart on black friday ($100). I had been shopping for a multi-function printer that would print beautiful photos and work great with my mac. I am so pleased with my purchase. I had it out of the box and printed a picture via my macbook in 15 minutes. I didn’t even have to connect the printer to my airport express via usb….it recognized the network and works great. Oh and the photo came out perfect the first time. I give this 5 stars -it’s awesome for the price.

I love this product. Lower ink consumable cost by itself is the main reason I bought it. I think this 3rd generations got the initial bugs fixed and Kodak has a great product now.
I copied various challenging documents (pictures, print books, ..) and it makes great copies, very close in image quality to the original thus speaking to combined quality of scanner and printer.
Wireless is a must in a household with lot’s of computers, some wired, most wireless to the router. After installing the AIO software on all PC’s, any PC on the home network can use the Kodak All In One print/scan on the network.
The local control panel with LCD is great for making copies, Scan-To jobs or print photos from SD slot, but I mostly use the AIO software.
Note that one can’t just install a driver on the PC’s, you need to install the full ~60MB Kodak AIO Home Center application in order to see the device in your printer driver list (I wished there was an option just to install the printer driver on some of my less used, older PC’s).
The AOI software includes handy image clean up software. easy to use for printing pictures and such.
