When I first thought about buying this humidifier, I based my decision on the reviews that were written about this product. When I first got the unit, everything seemed fine except for the filter. It arrived with some brown discoloring around the edge. Also, the humidifier looked like it has been used. I’m not sure if I was sold a used one; If I was, that is gross and unsanitary. There is dark discoloration inside the unit that I had to clean off when I first got it. After using the unit for a few months, the same discoloration came back so that led me to believe that I was sold a used one. It seems to do the job, but the water gets cloudy everyday and it is a pain to have to dump all the water out and refill it. No one should have to be sold a used unit, period.

What a great find. Wanted a humidifier for my 83 year old mom that wouldn’t be too hard to fill. With the top filling spout….she can add the water everyday..and not worry about lifting the unit or hurting her back. It works great!!

So far so good with this humidifier. I was looking for something that was low fuss, and with a decent capacity and output. Seems like this fits the bill. Simple enough that maintenance is easy. Filters and pads seem pretty cheap and available. The only drawbacks are the noise (pretty much a fan noise, and you’ll get that with any evaporating humidifier) and it doesn’t have a low water cutoff so keep an eye on it. Otherwise, a very good investment.

This is a great humidifier. It’s easy to fill and clean, the filters are cheap, and it’s a workhorse. I have mine going most of the time. Nothing but good things to say about it. My Mom came to visit last month, loved it, and now I’m buying her one too!

I have been through about 4-5 humidifiers in the last couple of years. My main complaints were noise (especially the boiling sound of the warm mist types), dirtiness after a few days of operation, and difficulty cleaning units. I decided to take another gamble with this humidifier–and it really paid off. I was afraid that the recirculating feature would be just another gimmick, but I can certainly tell the difference.
Pros:
Easy to fill
Easy to clean
Weekly cleanings are fine–could probably even go longer
The machine doesn’t seem to get very dirty–recirculating water keeps deposits from forming
Humidifies the air well
Quiet operation (just the sound of the fan)
Long filter life
Cons:
Can’t really think of any other than I can’t buy the filters locally
I highly recommend this product!
