When I ordered this drive, I looked for any mention of it being a bulk or bare drive because I needed the drive cable, like what comes with a retail drive. So of course, the package I received was a bare drive in a plastic bag. The bag wasn’t even taped shut. I now have to wait until I get to the store and buy a cable. On top of this, I have no idea if this is a new, refurbished, or used drive. I dont have any doubt this is a great product but it was the wrong one. I needed the IDE they sent SATA. But return policy was very good. Thanks again.

I purchased 2 of them just becuase I would like to duplicate DVDs and CDs. Although it comes only burener, I have no problem to install them. One thing is that you need to configure which one is Mater and which one is Slave if you plan to have two installed. Anyway, it works right after I installed them.

I purchased this drive from this company. It arrived without box, manual, cables, warranty and it had a manufacture date of 18 months ago. So, I assume it was used or scrap or something. This is very misleading. I purchased this two months ago, and this “company” is still advertising its wares. Deceiving.

This item came to my home without any instructions or anything, but compared to other hardware, it was very easy to install. It runs perfectly and didn’t need any reformatting and i love it. the speed is downrgraded by the fact that my computer is very slow, but the disk drive itself is great.
