This is the worst router that I have ever had. Continues to drop like crazy even with latest firmware from Linksys. I ended up to throw it aside.

I gave this item 3 stars because it does what its supposed to do but NOT what I and most likely you want it to. You cannot connect two computers, at the same time, to the internet with this device. You need a router. Printer sharing and file sharing didnt work either. Two calls to Linksys tech support and my own personal attempt to make it work add up to strike three.. Unless you have a complicated set up, it basically does nothing.
Forget this thing and suck it up and get a router, sure routers are a pain
but they do what you want. This doesnt. A friend of mine wants it so he’s getting a very early xmas present this year.

Do not even think you can use this as a router. The description alludes that it can be used as one, but it is not. Waste of money and time.

This was supposed to be a switch because sometimes I use the computer and othertimes my PS3. Everytime you want to use it you have to unplug the cable modem because it cant see the connection. What’s the point of this switch, if it forgets constantly that you have a connection. Kinda dumb idea for a product.

I connected this unit to enhance the speed of my gaming Lan Parties but unfortunately – I was wrong. I did not receive the immediate through-put needed for gaming. I received pauses that became so annoying – I refused to host anymore gaming Lan parties. Everything seemed to be delayed, so I tried contacting technical support but failed. I left a message and they took 4 days to get back to me…only to tell me that there wasn’t anything for them to repair. How would they know without testing the product first. They must know that this is a proven failed product. I would not wish this product on my worst enemy!!!
