I am shopping for a battery. I will not buy from this vendor due to the terrible reviews and no warranty. Thanks for the heads up. No money wasted AND a crappy review. I WON’T buy from this vendor, thanks!

I bought this battery because the Dell replacement batteries are outrageously over-priced. When I put this battery in the laptop I knew “something” was wierd. The battery meter reported that I had over 8 hours of battery life.. well, that wasn’t correct. I got almost 3 hours out of it, but it was very annoying that the battery meter did not match what life was actually left in the battery. After several months of use, the laptop battery meter pretty much says that that battery cannot be charged, but it still charges, and I still get more than 2 hours of life. I turned off the power management feature to go to hibernate, so there is a rather stark shutdown when the battery truly runs down. Overall I’m in a bit of a quandry. I cannot recommend that anyone buys this battery, and I cannot accept the price from Dell for replacement batteries. I guess it might be best just to plug the darn thing in once the battery goes bad….

Bought this battery almost exactly a year ago, and the laptop now displays a critically-low power warning if unplugged for even a second. Very poor quality/value…

First battery they sent me didn’t work at all. The second one worked for less than 5 months and is totally dead. Never charged to full capacity.
Company didn’t respond to my e-mail.

Not only does this battery have a ridiculously short life, my computer did not recognize it, but also 2 hours after I removed it to mail back for a return, my hard drive failed. Sometimes power settings can corrupt the boot sector, which is what happened, and I cannot get my data off the drive cheaply. DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY!
