This product stated that it updated Magellan GPS units. It only worked on Roadmate and I have a Maestro. Had to return.

Magellan has made updating maps a very easy process by putting them on a SD card. I made sure the GPS had the latest operating system installed and then plugged the SD card in and turned it on. Presto, map update worked perfectly. Could not have been easier. A great way to disseminate this information.

The GPS functioned better before installing the chip. Before installation the GPS would show whatever street I was on and now, more often than not, it shows where I am but with no street; before it showed the street and now the street doesn’t exist.
