I purchase Mavis Beacon teaches typing for my grandaughter as she was so behind in school in the computer class. It seems to be helping her. And then I thought it would help my husband to learn the computer too.

We homeschool, and most of the “learning is fun” type computer programs we have purchased in the past either fell short of any real learning aspect or taught the material well, but wasn’t too fun. However, my 10-yr-old little girl really liked Mavis Beacon. It was fun and really turns the lessons into fun games. Usually, we have to tell her how long to practice on her guitar, or other school activity, but she will spend 30 minutes several times a week practicing her typing and we don’t have to remind her. I would definitely recommend this program.
