It’s ok. It does what it says. It protects the case from fingerprints and scratches. It’s not pretty tho.
It has a frosty finish around the edges of the top case. It also has a slight indention around the center ( framing the dell logo ). I wanted to put a Gelaskin under it.. But because it’s not completely clear, that would look dumb. I guess you could put stickers and skins on the outside of this case.. Now that I bought this thing… I only see myself using it now and then. I wish I hadn’t bought it.
Four stars for being as described. It doesn’t, however, meet expectations.

The MCover hard shell is a essential piece for the Dell Mini 10. Sturdy and clean, it doesn’t provide so much additional strength as it does protection from fingerprints and scratches.
Using the clear shell also allows for placing artwork or stickers if desired without actually having to adhere them to your netbook’s chassis. I’ve done this with my Macbook as well, and it makes it easy to swap out designs when you get bored with them. Simply pop off the shell, place new ones on with a piece of double-sided tape, and snap back in place. Your netbook and artwork are protected.
And the shell helps prevents scratches that could occur from your netbook shifting around in your briefcase of backpack and doesn’t any noticeable amount of weight.
