As with all other pricy Monster Cable products, there are no published specifications (efficiency, bandwidth, etc.)

The sound and fit are fantastic. The rubberized fitting devices really allow the earphone to be fully sealed. Sound quality is dramatically better than any in-ear I’ve ever sampled. Light and comfortable; clear tones at low volume.
My 15-yo son praises the “incredible bass” for his heavy metal listening, and I like the clear trebles on my classical violin tunes.
The bad news is the offensively wasteful, non-recyclable, boxes-within-boxes packaging. Much of the packing is non-recyclable because fabric is glued to the plastic or cardboard backing, in multiple throw-away boxes-within-boxes.
The earphones fit in the palm of your hand, but the selling box is ten times that size. But the problem isn’t just “shelf space”. It’s gross environmental ignorance.
The package also contains a completely unnecessary and unrecyclable double-lipstick size, plastic-covered-case, also in its own packaging, purportedly for carrying the headphones separately from the player. Who carries their headphones in a special, separate-from-player case? This lipstick-style case is also made of cardboard with thin fake-leather plastic glued to the cover – i.e., useless AND non-recyclable.
Presumably the matte black packaging is supposed to make the product appear more “tech quality” or “high-end”. But the product marketing is also directed to audiophiles, who are generally people of culture and intelligence.
I love the sound quality. But this packaging was so offensive to my green aesthetic (I am a 55 yo woman schoolteacher) that I would not purchase nor recommend the product. Monster Cable needs to seriously rethink their packaging behavior.

I got these for Christmas. They are awesome and work terrific. Sounds are clear and happy with listening to my tunes. Worth the investment when you expect the best.

Monster cable continues to produce low quality products at insanely high prices. They, like bose, dupe the general public with shiney products and high-cost advertising.
Run from these. Just looking at them you can see the horrific build quality and shoddy design (these won’t fit all the way in your ears). Companies like this use buzzwords and fake names to sell you on their product (ever heard of a microstrand conductor? no, me neither). This is a very common tactic in the world of scam speaker sales, known as white-van speakers.
Go with a real, reputable company when it comes to your audio products. Personally, I find Sure headphones to be some of the best, and for one thrid this price you can get 10 times the quality product. Etymotic research, sennheiser, grado, sony, and others all make top of the line products depending on what you are looking for. Shop, read, and be an informed consumer before you buy into this trash.

I ordered these from Amazon last week and returned them right away, the sound was nowhere near as good as Shure In Ear Headphones, there was also static noise.
On top of all this, the left headphone blew out just after TWO days of use, i listen to music with a volume a little above average (65/100).
Please take my advice and do not buy these, there are MUCH better Headphones out there, such as Shure.
