I purchased this item to go with a new camera that uses SD or SDHC memory cards. I use the new format SDHC cards with my camera because of the quality of the photos. The SDHC cards can only be used with an SDHC reader. Excellent product to upload my photos to my laptop. Easy to use and saves time.

Superfast fulfillment of order.Barely have had time to try but seems to work fine.Is very small and much easier to use than to try to plug a cable into the camera’s plug. Very convenient indeed. And one sure cannot complain about the price !

I got this card reader/writer as a freebie.
When I bought another good item from a third-party vendor here at Amazon.
It works just fine, this little card reader/writer .
SD and SDHC cards read and write perfectly via this device.
On both Windows and Linux machines.
At least for me they do.
Five Stars on performance so far for me.
But you wouldn’t want to run over it with a bulldozer or a dumptruck.
Because the cheap plastic body might not withstand that sort of abuse.
Note that I did not deduct a star for that.

I thought this would be great, but when I tried to use it, it kept stopping. The light won’t stay on to copy things to it.
