My regular Sony adapter got bitten by my cat and no longer works. This did the job fine for less then a quarter of the price of the Sony one.
My one complaint is that the power box is too light and is not built strong enough. I just dropped mine and it broke open. I’m ordering a new one after 3 months of use.

One day I returned home to find that my computer cable was making a high pitched buzzing noise and no longer charging. eek! After talking to Sony, who told me that I would have to pay 100 bucks for a new charger for my 6 month old computer, I started looking at other options. I’ve been using this charger for about 2 months now and have absolutely no complaints. It does exactly what it is supposed to, without the stupid Sony pricetag. I paid for expedited shipping and it arrived within 48 hours. That’s important when you’re talking about electronics :]
