the best LED display, Easy to use and yet you can do your own setting. Sharp pictures and movies.

I bought it and returned it a week later after trying to confirm that it was the camera and not me. It has features that make it SEEM appealing but… the touch screen is all so easily inadvertently touched and BOINK you’re out of picture taking mode into another atmosphere. DEFINITELY NOT user friendly. Very awkward to hold without messing up your mode. And if that were not enough, the pictures really are NOT very good at all. I can’t believe it’s a Nikon. Trust me on this: If you it, don’t throw away the packaging or the receipt. Go Obama!

Yet another piece of junk from Nikon. Bought this from Best Buy, had all the issues described by others and returned it. I’ve had three Nikons in the S series digital cameras die on me in 4 years for various reasons. I am sick of paying $300 every year for a digital camera. I am going to buy a cheap one. Nikon should be ashamed. My father, a lifelong photo shutterbug would be appalled, were he alive to witness the garbage that Nikon is selling. I have a wonderful set of Nikon camera bodies and lenses he left me that will likely be around long after I am gone…and if they keep selling junk, Nikon is history. Another great company being ruined by business school fools.

Cool features, a little expensive compared to other compact digital cameras.
Tried taking lots of pictures but I just can’t get a sharp picture. Lots
of noise on the photos taken. I had to return it back.

I absolutely love this camera! It is easy to use and has so many features that I don’t believe you are able to take a bad picture! The only problem is that in very bright sunlight it is difficult to see the screen, but the many plus features far out weighs the one problem area. The touch screen makes it so much fun. Great zoom capabilities, and awesome portraits. Haven’t tried the panorama trick yet.
