Small mic + small price = small quality. Buyer beware, you get what you pay for. I’d recommend spending twice the money for something else. I’m not even sure this mic improved my sound quality at all.

This microphone provides a very accurate voice record ,and the price is right.

I’ve only used this a few times, after buying it on advice of the Nuance (Dragon Naturally Speaking transcription software) website. They said it greatly improved the sound quality for dictation purposes.
And they were RIGHT! Clear as a bell – I even left the recorder ON in my pants pocket (accidentally) and had a relatively clear recording, even though the recorder and mike were INSIDE A CASE! If you use it per their instructions, you’ll have crystal clear notes and memos.

You’d think this would be pretty good (because it bares the “Olympus” name), however, it didn’t work, right out of the box! Don’t waste your money.

Works very well picks up everything I need it to. No caveats. The audio files are right and tight. No odd swishing or weird “extras” like delays or echos. I start the recorder and leave it on the desk as I lecture and wander around the front of the room.
Sounds great, works well
