The description of the floating camera strap does not say whether it is a wrist strap or a neck strap when I purchased the strap Ithought i was buying a neck strap,I supose it will do its job however your discription could and should have been more precise.

I never received the item. I contacted the seller and asked for a full refund for the strap and the shipping ($44.95 on a $10.00 b/c I needed in in two days. The seller refused stating the fact that because I baught it through Amazon I had to get my refudn through Amazon. Amazon made me wait and jump through all kinds of email hoops to apply for the refund. I am still sending emails and completing online requests one month later and still no refund. I feel as if I have no rights in this transaction and feel as if my money was stolen.

I ordered several items in addition to this one. All other items shipped with no problems. This vendor sent the item to the incorrect address, when I contacted them to resend it I received a notice that the order was cancelled. Choose wisely when ordering.

the floating strap is usefull for people who want to take their camera in the ocean. if u have the strap u don’t have to worry if u’ll drop your camera – it’s floating on the surface

My Olympus 850SW was stolen/lost when I had my camera on my wrist with this strap. If you use this strap only use it in the water. It makes your camera a target for thieves.
