I can’t speak to the quality of this product, because I unpacked it, then repacked it and sent it back. It’s just SO heavy, and the size is kind of overpowering. I bought the 10 inch Sony instead, because it is half the weight. This might not matter to some people, but if you are giving it to your grandparents, just beware that they might not be able to manage it!

I just got my frame in the mail and am preparing for Christmas. Spent two hours and could not get the frame to work. I am convinced that it is defective. The directions are not terribly helpful – for something that costs over $100, the directions are made for a cheap item. Reall poor product quality – DO NOT BUY THIS ONE.

I ordered this frame as a Christmas present for my daughter on 11/30/09.
It arrived on 12/03/09. Really fast delivery for Super Saver shipping.
But when the UPS driver got off the truck with it, the package was in a
horrible condition. One quarter of one end of the shipping box was torn
open. You could see inside it. The box was crushed down to about three
quarters of it’s original thickness. I’m not sure why the moron that packed
the frame bothered to put any packing material in the box at all, because
there wasn’t enough to stop it from rattling around. The tape on the box
only covered about two thirds of the seam and then ran off at an angle.
When I opened the remains of the shipping box, I found one corner of
the frame box was crushed. I went ahead and set up the frame and to
my astonishment, it actually worked. I guess it’s a lot tougher than it
looks. I didn’t spend a lot of time with it, but the photos from my memory
card looked gorgeous. I’m sure my daughter’s going to be happy with it.
I understand that Amazon has no control over a package once it’s in the
hands of the shipper, but they should have some control over packing.
Maybe it’s time for someone in their shipping department to join the roles
of the unemployed. I’m sure there’s someone out there with a little pride
who could use the work.

It looks nice, but it didn’t work. The powercord arrangement is a joke. You have to unscrew the back and screw it back up again. The cords are about 6 inches long.

I really love this frame but it is huge. I sent it back to get a smaller one because I wanted one to display on an endtable. This one just doesn’t look right on a table. It needs to be wall mounted but I didn’t have a space for it. The features are awesome.
