I bought this about a month back because I was going to Florida vacation. The quality is great. I love it. Its easy to operate. 120 gb HDD is huge as I don’t have to keep on changing the 20 minute dvd’s anymore. Four different qualities supported depending upon your needs.
The couple of issues(not huge though) I found that the record button is too close to the hand and is very sensitive, so it was getting pressed even when I didn’t wanted to. Secondly, I wish the software that comes with it had more editing capabilities before making a movie.

This camcorder has great image and sound quality. Operation is simple and most functions can be adjusted manually or automatically. Touch panel is not that accurate. The software provided is a bit confusing and not that user-friendly.

Great camera.
Good image quality, HUGE hard drive makes recording easy, the touch screen is very easy to use (no silly joystick to mess with).
I have found that the battery life is better then I expected, the standard battery lasting up to 2.5 hours, though it can drop down to 1.5 depending on how much playback you happen to use.
The only negative I have found with the camera is that the still image Flash does not double as a video light source, so shooting at night will require some type of light source for close up shots (videoing your face at night, for example).
Panasonic does make an add on light source, but it’s not cheap … there are many after market light sources for 20-30 dollars, so that may be the cheapest option.
Happy with this unit and would certainly buy again.

I’M SUPER HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE OF THIS CAMCORDER. I LOVE THE SMALL, COMPACT SIZE AND HARD DRIVE FEATURE. THE ONLY FEATURE I MISS IS A VIEWFINDER.

The video take outdoor is clear and beautiful, It’s really HD, I play it on 52 inch television,it’s beautiful.Unfortunately, I’m looking for the camcorder with high quality video indoor or low light, this one make me disappointed. It’s get grainy with the light indoor, even with sunlight in the room.
