I was looking for a nice system that supports my iPhone/iPod. This definitely fit the bill. My iPhone 2G/3Gs and iPod 5th Generation all work perfectly fine, including from the remote. The iPod/iPhone dock is real slick, being hidden behind the smoke glass/plastic keeps it dust free and it charges. The sound is great. No complaints whatsoever.

I bought this as a radio to provide background radio in a large empty space after my wife died. I looked at the high end compact stereos and felt they did not represent good value. I saw this model well reviewed here and ordered one. I have found it easy to use and the sound is excellent for such a small unit. It is also elegant, something I put store in. If you want a good looking stereo unit that sounds great for about $175, you can’t go wrong here.

I recently purchased the Panasonic SC-HC3 and ordered a Bose II iPod Speaker Dock through a reward points catalog. I was expecting to get better sound quality out of the Bose II since it is twice the price. I was wrong, the Panasonic sounds as good if not better. The Panasonic also has the CD player, radio, clock, timer and a way better remote control with lots of functions! Why would any one pay twice the price and get less? If I had purchased the Bose II form a retail store I would take it back and get another Panasonic. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is I think all iPod speaker could have better sound.
