Panasonic has no respect for the consumer and no quality control. Never buy Panasonic products.

I just got my xbox 360 back so now I can try the tv.
Image 10/10
I went to my friends house who has a 42 inch 1080i lcd tv. I thought 1080i was better, they used blu-ray, it looked good but from 6 feet away there there were weird dots and stuff near the image, none with this panasonic.
Sound 10/10
Hear everything, thats good enough for me
Works 10/10
I got it from a bad seller and it still works perfect…
Blacks 9/10
I didnt notice the tv was on, it looked like the tv was off black. Then I turned it off, I noticed a slight change in color
Total 9.75

Recently acquired the TC-37LZ85 through vendor Sixth Avenue Electronics (Amazon.com vendor). The TV was delivered by UPS in a battered, torn box with insulation peanuts falling out of box. The box also had been puctured in multiple places. The box looked as if it had been in a war and lost. There were no markings on the box to indicate which end was the top. I should have refused the box, but I did not. Inside the box was another box which contained the TV. This box was upside down. The styrofoam insulation blocks that supported the TV were broken in several locations. The TV was loose in the box. TV was inspected and there were no visible broken parts. It was easy to hook up and in no time I was sitting back watching my first flat screen. The TV arreared to have not been damaged. Bottom line. Good picture and more than I expected. I still should not have accepted the delivery. My advice. Do not order from Sixth Ave. Electronics.

Panasonic has a very good HD picture. We bought one for each of our son’s for Christmas and consider them to be an excellent value.
