The item was not difficult to install but the adaptor plate did not fit my tv so I called peerless customer service and they had one sent to me but that cost me another 40 bucks. I was disappointed it was NOT as universal as advertised. once I got the tv up it is ok, and getting the tv up to it is a 3 person job and it takes two to lift it up as it should for safety reasons but a 3rd person needs to hold the arm steady. I did find out there is another one that could have fit without having to spend the extra 40 bucks. I had to return the first tv to the store and round up help when I got a replacement. Now it looks like I may need to do that again as the replacement tv has problems also.This whole thing with the mount and tv has been very frustrating.

P.S. when I moved and lost the adaptor plate, peerless co tried to sell me another one for more than the origional cost than the whole thing cost me. THE NERVE. I have sent complaints to several consumer protection agencies andvowewed to never again do business with them. for this tv I have instead had a machine shop makee up an adaptor plate for a few dollars. as for another tv in my new home I got a much better mount for a much better price and this did not need an adapter. anyone needing a wall mount should look elsewhere; There are much better ones at less cost and no adaptor is needed.

Used it for my 23″ LCD TV and it fits perfectly. The most time I spent installing it was drilling the holes on my wall and after that everything snapped into place.

Easy to install, although it did not fit my TV from the start. I think however this is because my TV had non standard hooks.

Looked at many wall mounts and am completely satisfied with the Peerless SA740PS. Stepladder made it easy to install, since the mount is on the heavy side. Using it with a 32″ Samsung LCD
