Set up is a no-brainer. Loads quickly. Picture quality is rich and vivid on my Philips 42PFL5603D, (incidentally a TV I can highly recommend as a thing of beauty for the sad and lonely!) The real pro for me is that the blur on any image that moves fast on the horizontal (forgive me, I’m sure there’s a short technical term for this but I’m a luddite!) is eradicated. As for the sound quality, my 5. 1 has a whole new lease of life. The remote is also friendly to the hard of thinking. I had my doubts about the Blu-ray revolution and was sure that DVD upscaling was just as effective. I was wrong. I’m also not really sad and lonely! Buyer enjoy!
