Seems like a good enough DVD player, but the box does not indicate (nor do online descriptions) that the HDMI cable is not included. Can’t imagine that the additional cost couldn’t just be added to the price of this player. Almost deceptive packaging, disappointing.

This Philips DVP3980 Hi-Def 1080p Up-Conversion DVD is a great DVD player for the money. I have had absolutely no problems with it and would buy it again. You can’t go wrong with this product!

It’s a very simple dvd player and plays almost everything.
Picture quality is great using the HDMI port.
