The Philips Mp4 is not so good as I think. It didn’t have a bluetooth connection, and for all things you need a PC (reload, transfer music). The mp4 didn’t appear in PC like a pendrive. You can see it but you can’t scan with antivirus. The good is great capacity of the flash memory and self organized music display.

I picked up one of these players today at a KC [...]. After charging the battery and installing the software, I spent about three hours trying to get satisfactory results for my time. The instructions in the owner’s manual are poorly written or at best, incomplete. The instructions and the player itself aren’t intuitive in the least.
Perhaps I would have had better results if I had used a Phillips device previously but this was to have been my first MP3 player. Whatever virtues this player may have will continue to be obscured because of this unsatisfactory experience.[...].

As the individual before me stated the manual/instructions are totally worthless. Also when trying to select between one of the selections, video, music, FM, etc. you really have to be carefull in how hard and how long you press “button”, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Like I said not really a happy camper.

I bought this at a membership store a few days ago. The store offered a $10 off coupon. This is my first MP3 player, so I can’t compare it to others, but I find the sound excellent, and I haven’t upgraded the headphones. In fact, I didn’t think I’d like them, but so far, they’re fine. I’ve been able to read everything on the screen with my old eyes, also a plus. The last review mentioned the instruction manual, and he’s right, it’s useless. It seems to be meant for someone who already is familiar with the product. I discovered on my own, out of sheer frustration, that sometimes a double click of the select button works. I also haven’t been able to find a case for it. The best I could find so far is a cell phone case from Radio Shack. It has a gap in the right place for the headphone jack and has a belt clip, but I still have to take the player out to access any buttons. Everything else I looked at is too small or too large.
