Poor sound quality…
Awkward to wear, and unlikely to stay in…
I ordered one hoping that the 5 start reviews has some merit and the the 1-2 star reviews were missing something. Bad decision…
I am returning this product. I am a little upset that I have to pay shipping, since it is such a poor product.
Anyway, you have been warned. You have only yourself to blame if you order it.
Enjoy the day…

I have been buying headsets for cell phones for years now, and lately have been on a search for one that allows the user to actually hear, even in noisy environments. I have tried products from Motorola, Jensen, Southwestern Bell, Plantronics and even some “no name” headsets found on ebay. Plantronics (including all Plantronics models I have tried for home phones for years) are THE WORST. Buy *anything* else. Plantronics products are completely unusable unless you have a hearing aid and I am amazed this company is still in business. This model headset is no different.

Defective or does not work for Sanyo RL-7300. The person I call can hear me. I hear nothing. Will be returning.

That is what I would call it from a business standpoint. It stopped working for me within about 2 months and when I called the company to complain and they informed me that they would not replace it unless I had my receipt and when I told them I didn’t keep my receipt the young women told me to give her the “date-code” on the headset and when I gave that to her she told me that it didn’t compute. So therefore I would have to pay to replace it. I think that any “decent” company would have taken care of a customer in order to keep them happy. I would recommend something besides Plantronics. Good luck and God Bless.

I ordered this item for $3.58 plus $2.98 shipping and received it in a timely manner. I have yet to test out the headset so will update this review based on actual performance. So far I am dissatisfied though with the way the item was shipped and the response from the seller. The item arrived without any retail packaging or instruction manual. I inquired with the seller and they notified me that the item is purchased in bulk and shipped with bulk packaging, therefore explaining the ziplock bag. They stated that this is the reason that they can sell a $30 item for $3.58. Well if that is the case, why does the Amazon product page say that the retail is $44.95 not $30. What is the real retail? Nowhere on the Amazon site is there an indication that this item is purchased in bulk with no packaging. How do you even know if the item is new or used?
Also there is no instruction manual or warranty information with the item. Yes it costs less than $4.00 but every electronic item comes with an instruction manual. Also, the envelope the item came in states that they only paid $1.05 for shipping so they made a profit off the shipping also. They should charge me the true shipping cost. After I asked for a credit for the shipping difference, the seller states that all cell phone accessories on Amazon ship for the same rate of $2.98 and it is clearly stated on the Amazon website. If that is the case, where is it stated? They shouldn’t make a profit off shipping also.
