The two memories were bad or used, I try each and only a memory started but to the second showed blue screen, I had to buy another equal in Venezuela and worked perfectly,I cannot give back you because I live so far “Venezuela” and it leaves expensive, What a deception?

I actually ordered 2-2GB memory modules. The first order was too long as my Gateway desktop uses the notebook size. So, I get the right sized modules and then find out that to upgrade from 2/3GB 32 bit computers, you have to upgrade to 64 bit which requires mo money for Bill for a new Windows OS. And only God knows what programs you have won’t cohabitate with 64 bit computers. And, I still don’t know why there is a need for 32 and 64 bit home computers. So, to give some oomph to the system I got an 8GB USB CRUZER flash memory unit and it provides a bit more octane.

I bought this memory and it works fine. I sent the rebate to PNY and they sent a postcard stating “missing receipt” I did send a copy of the transaction but there is not a “receipt” included in a online transaction.

It is what it says it is. The awesome part of buying this RAM was how insanely fast I got it; it seemed like I ordered it at night and it was here in the morning! That’s only a slight exaggeration, I really was shocked by how fast I got my order – thanks!

Used it for a Hackintosh (Mac osx’09 on Dell Optiplex GX520). Heat spreaders are nice.
