I bought two of these TV DVD combos for the extra bedrooms from Target for $250 each. Hooked up the cable and within five minutes (after the TV did the initial channel search setup)it was working perfectly.
I read the other reviews and am not sure what their problem was – I have Comcast Cable in NJ – and it works fine.
There is also a neat USB port where you can put in a memory stick and it will show a picture slide show – kind of a cool thing to do when you have guests coming over!
I usually worry about the audio – no problems on this machine!
Also, when you put it on full screen – it’s not wacky distorted – none of the options for ratio viewing distort the picture.

I have Polaroid 32′ widescreen, and all the Digital channels are not compatible with the digital tuner that’s in the TV’
When I called product support, they told me told me that LIFE IS NOT FAIR!!, that there was noting they could do.

We bought this TV for our morning “getting ready” bathroom. We wanted news and weather for the day. We can only pick up two of the four channels in our area and our other TV’s get the signals crystal clear. To be fair I took the TV to each location of the other TV’s and STILL couldn’t pick up any more signals! Just a poor performer for digital signals. Save your anguish and buy another brand.

This TV has terrible Digital reception. It gets less than half the channels I can get with two other digital TVs. I’ve tried all types of antennas and a separate amplifier. No improvement. I sent it off for repair and it came back the same. I think it was just designed with a very poor digital tuner. It works fine for Analog signals but they are going away soon. I would never buy this TV again.
