As an owener of a new SMART car these speaker were recommended by many owner of other SMART cars. The spec’s and performance of these speaker are great. They replaced the stock speakers, the fit was perfect, there is plenty of room. The MOD went smoothly, and the end result was better then I had expected. I did add a Sub Woofer, Boss 8″Slim Bass600 from this site. The sound is the best of any vehicle I have owened. These speaker are the best money can buy.Check my MOD Pix’s on this site http://www.smartcarofamerica.com Then go to gallery click on p1nball/ thats my gallery. See the whole process!!! LOL p1nball

Having blown my factory speakers, and searching for replacements I stumbled across these speakers. After installation I was pleased with the sound quality and clarity, but it was not until I installed a dedicated amp that these speakers truly came into their own. Running off of the headunit at 10 watts apiece they were clear and fairly loud, but with 50 watts, it just kept getting better and better. I cannot speak to the bass response of these speakers as I have them crossedover at 120Hz and up, but before I tuned the crossover they were producing enough bass to rattle the doors. You will be pleased with these speakers. They handle adequate amounts of power cleanly, yet their sensitivity is high enough to use as a direct replacement for factory speakers without.

I have replaced the front stock speakers in a `02 Mitsubishi Diamante to the polk audio db651 and have been totally satisfied with it.However the tweeters on these speakers were of little use to me as i had used it as a midbass in my car. But, i have tried connecting to the full range output and they are great.

I installed these speakers in my Crestliner 1650 Fishhawk boat. The sound quality is excellent compared to the previous speakers I had in there. Amazon’s price is fabulous compared to what I paid for the previous speakers. I have not had the speakers long enough yet to say how well they will stand up to the weather conditions, but they are rated for marine compatability. That is why I am only giving the speakers a 4 star rating instead of a 5.

Purchased these speakers after a lot of research for my 1999 Nissan Altima. I had a certain budget to work from and these very well fitted in the budget. The frequency response of this speaker is best in the category, I would advice these for people who do not want to invest in a Subwoofer system, IT gives ample bass and the quality of music is really good, I went on to combine these speakers with Infinity 6022i for the front, the combination is amazing.
