I’m not technically sophisticated enough to really critique this powered subwoffer; however, I like deep and distinctive bass sounds and this one provides that. For those people like me – looking for a speaker that sounds good – I would recommend it.

A little boxy sounding, and not real crisp. It does have adequate power and sounds better for movies than it does for music. There are better sounding subs in the $300 price range. Overall good but not great.

Good sub for the price. the only thing i had problems with is if there is with music it runs out of power and needs a break to catch up.

I spent many hours researching subs after I broke off the wire pin in my Onkyo 10″ sub and decrided to upgrade. A friend of mine has a 10″ Polk sub which he has had for over 3 years and it still amazes me till this day so naturally I checked out the Polk Website when I came upon this on the site, I am not in the position to go after subs above the $400 range so, naturally I was disapointed….that was until I got on Amazon and was shopping until I came across the same sub for $240….I couldnt believe it I didnt hesitate to get my card out and order, I still have a few days before it gets here but I have nothing but a week long Movie Marathon planned!!!! I am pairing this up with a Onkyo sr706 a 7.1 surround system so I know I am for a real eye & earopener when I recieve this awsome piece of equipment!!
