Cheaply made. On off switch sticks. Software installed on computer but videos won’t pull up. Finally got the videos to download with a windows picture scanner program and wanted to burn them onto DVD with windows dvd maker but computer freezes up when trying to play this file. This is not the plug and play advertised. Wish I had bought the flip instead. I hear they’re great.

This camera is made out of plastic. Not a metal piece on it. When I got mine, the volume did not work and the HD/Web TV and the Sports modes were all the same quality…very poor. The picture is way too dark no matter how you adjust it. When I downloaded the software, it would not let me download You Tube because the picture was all garbled. This camera was not even worth waiting for.

The sound and picture quality is horrid, no matter what setting you have it on, HD or not! It freezes, the buttons don’t respond well, it’s very slow, it does NOT work directly with Mac computers, and is very difficult on PCs.
With the sound, you here the inner workings of the camera, and there is always a buzzing sound! The picture when uploaded to Youtube, is grainy! The camera can not be used in the dark, or low light, it makes the picture even worse! And I do not know what the designer was thinking, when they gave it a rounded bottom. It will not stand up on it’s own!
Buy a Flip Camera! They work SO much better! This Small Blunder, is garbage!

I was really looking forward to this little camera but was very, very disappointed. I was planning on using this a gift to a family member but it is going back asap.
Several things to be aware of .The ports on the side of the camera are difficult to access. The buttons do no response easily to your touch, i.e the power switch is hard to manager and I have small hands and can’t imagine a larger handed or male trying use that little switch
. Pictures taken both video and still were of just average quality.
The sound factor was most disturbing. One of the big things in doing video capture is to get some of the outside sounds well this camera really struggles to get any sound. Very low volume.Nothing I did on the camera or computer would increase the volume
The software that is used to upload and view the clips is not easy to use either. Tried unsuccessfully a number of times to email a video clip. No go.. Viewing the clips and the stills in their software is not that easy either..
Spend your money on the MOST popular sm video camera, Flip…. you’ll be a lot happier over all.
