How to install:
1. Turn Power switch to the Off position.
2. Be sure dust bin is empty, then place Roomba upside down(with cleaning brushes showing) on a flat surface.
3. Guide the Battery Pack into the battery compartment using your index fingers(as shown). The Battery Pack will click into place when properly seated in Roomba.
How to remove the old battery pack
1. Repeat Steps 1 & 2 from above.
2. Place your index fingers under the guide tabs on the Battery Pack, then pull upward to release the Battery Pack.

I bought one of those cheap Roomba for under $100 for Christmas. 2 years later it just stopped and played a death tone. I couldn’t find any good info on what that tone might mean, but I guess it could be the battery. I was glad to see that I was correct, and now I can lazily vacuum my room again.

Had to replace my roomba battery. Easy to replace and now my roomba works like it’s brand new.

Bought in Jan, 2009. November, 2009 it will not run longer than 3 minutes, or goes instantly back to the charging station.
This has been kept constantly on the charging station, and is only used about once a month.
Per our experience, and reading other reviews, there is something very wrong with these batteries,

It works and did bring my Roomba back to life, but Roomba only runs for 45 min before returning to base on this battery. I think the original battery run slightly more than an hour when it was new.

Share the same view as some other reviewers, this battery works hard and recharges fast! We are very happy with the purchase.
