This cable works great, but there is one big flaw. It’s so freaking thick, heavy, and stiff (that’s what she said). The picture and sound are fine, but I have this connected to the side of my laptop. The cable should only be used on a computer that isn’t going to move anywhere (would be great for a desktop). My laptop doesn’t have the two screw-holes for a secure connection so any laptop movement at all and the cable’s shear weight pulls itself out of the side of my computer.
Overall, for the price the Video and Sound can’t be beat and I’d highly recommend this to everybody with a desktop. Just be careful if you have a laptop. I am still glad I got it (hulu on a 37 inch flatscreen is awesome) and have no regrets, but still wish it were a little lighter and not as stiff.

This is a quality cable. I was surprised to see how well constructed and well insulated it is. It came with sm plastic prtective pin covers and a spare set of post nuts. It provided a really nice picture when I connected my laptop to my sony rptv (lcos). A sweet deal for $8.79 (thats about $0.58 per foot). Note: I didn’t have to pay s/h because I subscribe to amazon prime (another sweet deal if you use amazon alot).

Ferrite on both ends, as pictured, super high quality feel, replaced a HDMI connection to my monitor due to unrelated issues and the picture with this SVGA cable is equivalent, very pleased!!

Saved me $20 and added 5 more feet. Radioshack was selling 10 foot VGA cables for $30. Definitely pick this up because its a great quality cable and its cheaper then most out there.

After reading the reviews, I though this would have met expectations with quality. I bought two cable prior to this one. The first was absolutely terrible quality. so, I bought another, which was much thicker. It work wonderfully, with excellent picture quality. I needed another one for another monitor. The nice one that I bought prior did not make one 15 feet long, only 12 feet, so I opted to purchase this one. The picture quality is no terrible, like the first one I bought. But it’s nowhere near the 12ft cable I purchased for my other monitor. I will live with it until I probably get tired of seeing jittery lines in some screens.
