This fit the bill nicely, works great and luv the soft feel on the outside. <br />Seems to work best if I plug in the usb power cable first then the usb data cable last. NO regrets. I recently got a new netbook and of course I needed a dvd burner to make the recovery disks so I could remove the factory VISTA and put on Windows 7.

It installed very easily. Powers off the usb connection. Required no drivers for either my Netbook XP or my desktop Vista 64. The case has a nice texture and feels very sturdy.
