I bought this player and the upgraded model the 2600, both would not connect to the internet wirelessly. I contacted samsung and they told me and I quote, “the product is too new for us to support, we don’t have the documentation on the player (bd-2600).” Samsung makes niece televsions and they need to stick with making televisions. After these two blue ray “players” I purchased the LG BD370 LOVE IT!!! The picture, sound and features blow Samsung away. Don’t waste your time, money or effort.

I like the player, good video quality etc but the box came without the hdmi cable and I had to buy a separate one. The player was supposed to include the cable.

Its a great player, but for the price, you might as well go with a PS3

Do not purchase this item based on wireless feature…In order to use the wireless option, you have to purchase a separate wireless LAN adapter for around $80.

I purchased this item instead of the Sony Blu Ray because this one said that it was wireless, but failed to mention that you need the adapter in order to use it. Needless to say, after 25 mins on the phone and a lot of swearing, I exchanged it for the Sony, which has exceeded my expectations.

I was very disappointed when I started having problems playing certain blu ray movie titles. The movies are Quantum of Solace, The Rocker, The day the earth stood still, ect. and all these movies are all made by Century Films. I tried to update the firmware, but was unsuccesful. I have not contacted Samsung, but that will be my next step.
