Fantastic product, my LCD and HD are Samsung as well so instant recognition straight to HDMI2 one remote for all, 1080p all I thought it would be. Unit very light and as good as it looks on site, wall mount easy. Buy a cheap one and you will regret it!

I had great hopes for this machine, but while it plays Blu-ray discs well enough, it has an annoyingly noisy fan, lists but fails to play most mp3s stored on CD-R or DVD-R that I have tried (they play without problem on my old Panasonic DV-585 and every other mp3 compatible CD or DVD player I have tested them on). In addition, the manual refers to placing discs in the disc tray. The BD-P4600 has no disc tray! Oh, and when I tried to read the “Terms and Conditions” that have to be signed up to when registering, the link led to no such thing, but to a general Samsung page with no mention of terms and conditions on it. I have therefore not registered it as I have no intention of signing up to a pig in a poke. Samsung provide no email address for contact to report such defects on their site and I see no reason to pay to ‘phone them or snail mail them to report their inadequacies. These are just the problems I have encountered with this machine in the 2 evenings since installation. I am seriously considering returning it a not fit for purpose.
