have 52 inch tv well within limits, it cannot support the weight, so the TV is angled towards the ground, almost unwatchable. Contacted supplier for assistance, they were of little help. Spend the extra money on a better one or have a large whole in your wall to show for it

As mentioned in other reviews, this TV broke after 5 minutes of viewing.
It started turning itself ON and OFF in an infinite loop.

Sorry to say the delivery man just came back today to take it back to Amazon Warehouse. VERY bad picture, blurry, ghosting, all around it has a bad choice. It’s a lower end model and it showed.

We feel spoiled with this television. We used to think that DVDs were the clearest picture we’d ever see on a television, but now the comparison with the HDTV broadcast picture makes DVDs look like the last decade’s VHS. The controls are nice and intuitive
The only complaint I have about the television is that it wasn’t clear that the “picture-in-picture” feature can only be used when viewing two analog stations. This means the feature will for all intents and purposes not exist come February, 2009.

ARG. So fustrating!!!
I finally got my new 46″ Samsung (LN46A630) delivered by Amazon last Wednesday… and it was already defective! I’m so mad that I actually reviewed the good and few bad reviews on here and took my chances on buying this TV.
I had the same problem that most other negative reviewers did. As I would watch tv or DVD, the screen would snow-out (red and green lines) and emit an incredibly startling high-pitched screech for 30-45 seconds before shutting itself off. It would take about 60-120 seconds to re-power itself. It continues to do this every 10 mintues or so and makes it impossible to watch anything!
I’ve called Samsung service and they put a work order to a local repair shop to get it fixed. The guy at the shop didn’t even talk to me to clarify the problem, but left a message indicating he knows whats going on and already has some parts on order (power board). I am still waiting for parts to come before scheduling the repair appointment. And still at home without a working TV!
What a shame this must obviously be a defect in the manufacturing of this model – and yet Samsung continues to sell it?!? Unbelieveable. I should’ve gotten the Sony Bravia my friend tried to convince me to get!
