The unit is fine. It’s the home theater that wasn’t thoughtout enough by Samsung. There isn’t enough inputs on the back of the box makeing it very hard to setup.

This item was in stock but not shipped until 10 days after it was ordered. The instructions are very brief with no troubleshooting guide. After several attempts to activate this unit, I could not get it to work.A couple of my electronic savy friends also attemted to no avail. I will be sending this unit back.If I would have bought this at a local store it would have been much easier to return.

This thing is totally worthless. Period. If you insist on spending $100 on this, just get a Ben Franklin and take a cigarette lighter to it – you will get the same feeling as buying this item, but will not have to wait for it to ship.
Worked for a total of about 10 minutes, and hasn’t done anything since. Which is sad because I am very happy with the Samsung system in general. Overall the system was an excellent value, has amazing sound for the price (and I am an AV professional). However, this embarrassment of an accessory makes me feel dubious about purchasing anything from Samsung again.
I stayed well within the specs recommended in the instructions and installed everything properly. I actually work with sound and video to pay the bills, so I kind of know my way around this stuff. My conclusion is that this wireless speaker thing is some hastily acquired item that was not vetted or well tested… a very stupid move on the part of the Samsung brand. If you want to compete with people like Yamaha and Onkyo, Mr. Samsung, then you need to make everything works properly.

I was very pleased with how quickly I received it. It is a great product and we are happy.

Just got my SWA-4000 in to connect to my samsung home theatre set. It powers up but I get no sound from the speakers. The customer service has transferred me to two numbers that didn’t work and I have had to call back and wait in line for an hour each time.
I finally got to a technician who after trying the 0135 reset informed me that I would have to send it off and it would be 21 business days before I get my brand new receiver back. Very upset about this and still have not received resolution..
