This company was offering this MP3 player for $49.00 around Thanksgiving. We placed our order only to be told they didn’t have any more in stock, yet they seem to have some in stock at a higher price. GO FIGURE. Won’t be using this company for any further electronics purchase and I will be sure to tell anyone I know considering making a similar purchase to steer clear.

The first unit I got stopped powering up after two days even when plugged in so it wasn’t a low battery problem. Amazon was great about sending a replacement by overnight courier, but the second unit had a faulty output plug. It made a high whistling noise every time the plug was jostled even slightly – a bad feature in a portable unit. This time I returned it for a refund.
The design is great. Easy to use interface with an ipod style wheel. Easy to connect with PC and transfer files.
Sound quality is mediocre. You are losing detail on music. Quality was clearly worse than my in car OEM head unit.

Well, I hate to say this, but I’m dissappointed at Amazon for the first time. We ordered this MP3 Player and some headphones for our son’t 14th Birthday which was last Aug 24th. Since we were out of town on vacation we didn’t want to order it to arrive at a time when we werent’ home, so I waited until we came back, a week ago. The arrival date was August 27th, so we told him what it was since it was coming after his birthday, and he’s been anxious waiting for it. Well, we got a package in our mail box (not UPS like it said it would be), and the box felt super light so I wonder, after opening we found the earphones only, so I figured it would come in a separate box, 2 days later nothing came. Called Amazon and told them the situation and they said the the items were shipped together in one single box, so obviously the MP3 player is missing. They were kind enough to issue a replacement shipment for Next Day Delivery, but it won’t be here until Monday. I know mistakes happen, I just wish it didn’t happen this time, it was our son’s special and so wanted present. Just wanted to write about it so you are aware that this could happen to you. I have ordered several times from this company, and never had a problem before, and this had to be the first time.

I purchased this item for my grandaughter’s 14th birthday. She wanted an iPod because all of her friends have one. I compared the Fuze with iPod and several other similar items online and determined the Fuze was the the most practical in many ways, especially on my budget.
Then I discussed it with my daughter and son-in-law before actually making the purchase, because they refused to get Kayla an iPod for Christmas and I didn’t want to act contrary to their principles. In fact, they purchased a Fuze for their other daughter for Christmas after thoroughly researching all the options. They decided to ask Kayla if she would be happy with the Fuze if Grandma bought it for her or if she wanted to save her money to buy herself an iPod. Well, she was less than excited about getting a Fuze but decided it would be OK.
Now the sisters have the same MP3 but different colors. We live in different states so I don’t have much opportunity to really see how Kayla feels about this, but some things are just best that Grandma doesn’t know. She still treats me with the same love and respect so I guess she’s content. She’s a smart girl and I know she will some day see the value of making good decisions.

I never owned a mp3 player before, but this little player is great. It was very easy to set up and fits right into my pocket.
