According to the manufacturer’s site these are supposed to hold speakers up to 8 pounds. I have the Energy Take Classic speakers that weigh in at 2.9 pounds and they caused these mounts to sag when wall mounted. If I would have been ceiling mounting them it may have supported the weight, but since I needed to wall mount my speakers I returned them. They just didn’t meet my needs. I ended up getting the Philips 5-piece Speaker brackets (PN: SQB1131/17) locally and although I had to go to the hardware store for screws, they hold my speakers really well.

I purchased these mounts to install my Enery classic Take 5 Pack speakers on the ceiling. They not only worked great for my speaker system but had several components for installing other speaker systems. I strongly recommend these units.

These speaker mounts are plenty strong to hold sattelite speakers (small ones) on my ceiling and walls. The only thing I wish they would improve would be a way to hide the hole in the ceiling or wall where the wire comes out. Of course if you are wireless then it’s all good. Directions were minimal but you can figure it out pretty easily by looking at the pictures and sorting out the parts. All in all they do what they were meant to do.

We were looking for smaller sized speaker mounts, and these turned out to be perfect. They are adjustable and are in good proportion to our small wall speakers. Heavy duty, no worries of them not being able to hold the speakers. Just what we wanted.

Had lots of parts for many different applications (unlikely to hit every conceivable scenario but definitely sufficient). Easy to install. Probably 10-15 minutes per speaker. Bargain priced at under $40 when other comparable sets got for $60+.
