I bought this thinking I could attach any external hard drive. It was my fault. I didn’t read the description closely enough. It will cost more to ship it back to be worthwhile. So I’ll hold on to it and wait until the “free agent go” external hard drives go on sale

Got this for a gift and I was so bummed that it is not Mac compatiable. The description says it is , but it’s not. It’s even @ the Apple website, but IT”S NOT COMPATIABLE. Dont buy if you have a MAC, booo PC’s

Not a necessity but this docking station should have been included for free in the FreeAgent Go 500GB version (that I purchased). Seagate is milking it big time, considering it’s nothing more than a USB cable with a plastic holder. Love the 500GB GO nonetheless.

did not match the external hard drive. these were for 250 & 320 GB hard drives

i wonder why it needs 2 separate usb plugs? if your laptop has just 2 usb input, you won’t be able to plug in anything else. turns out i can use just a usb to mini-usb cable. otherwise it’s just a nice dock.
