I received the drive one day after ordering online at Amazon. I had expected to receive it in 3-5 business days, and was very pleased to get it that much quicker!

I’m confusing how its power button works. Sometimes it does, sometimes not. However, it took me 30 minutes to find out where is this button located.

I got a terabyte seagate hard drive about 3 months ago to back up my two old hard drive in case they crashed. My seagate was going great and i put 800 gigs of video on it. Then it crashed. Don’t recommend buying. I was originally hesitant because i had never heard of the company, seems like i was right. I recommend going with a well known brand like western digital.

this freeagent pro was purchased for auto back-up, but is not compatible with 64-bit (can be used as manual storage though) plugged into dvr to back-up some tv programs to put on computer, and now it is undetectable on 64-bitxp. hooked up to laptop says it's running fine with the seagate tools. yet it does not apear in my computer window. so the computer can read it, but not access it now. what a bummer, so need to find a more compatible external drive.

(just a mention the last seagate internal drive I bought (200gb)crashed under warranty, but seagate wants to charge 1,750$ for data recovery. so like a fool I bought another seagate drive to copy what data was left onto a new drive.)

amazon returns are awesome so I will keep shopping!!!

I Would like to know if this Hard Drive can be reformatted to work with Mac Os X, ( 10,5.2 )
