this is a wonderful wireless headphone set i got for my husband. we have 2 one in the mountain home and one at the costal home. he can listen to tv and I don’t have to be stressed by the noise as he has a hearing problem and tends to keep it on high.My neighbor here in Idyllwild had a set and he tried it and liked them.so I ordered it..wonderful sound quality..I can use the one in the bedroom to watch my programs..

Hi everyone,
for purchase.
I got the device today only try to assemble it and had problems .My trasmitting station always reset (using with creative muVo mp3 player)after 1~2 seconds and it get started only when I put audio source jack into tx antenna kind of stuff.
It may be my usage flaw, but its giving hard time to me to play it…
And it make me sad

…it’s a present from my wife this week (for when I go into Classic Arts Showcase mode at 11 PM and she can’t stand the screechy sopranos). Nice intention, and I’d have no problem using them, except that (1) I’ve got to go into the HDTV’s audio menu to shut down TV speakers in order to hear the headphones, and (2) no matter what channel and the headphone tuning, the background hiss is far worse than my sight tinnitus unless I turn the sound down to an almost inaudible level! The product is not acceptable. Also, (3) I spent about 2 hours trying to even get the base unit to illuminate – documentation is crappy (unusual for a German product) and troubleshooting on the two sheets provided (in more than a half dozen languages) is non-existent. It seems to take quite a while before it begins to send and the light goes on, and ditto for turn off…so long, in fact, that I was thinking I was connecting something wrong or the unit was malfunctioning. I am not impressed with this product. I am surprised to see so many happy with it.
(IGNORE CAPS, I’M NOT SHOUTING.) JUST FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE THESE WORK….MAYBE THIS HELPS SOMEONE! HAD ISSUE WITH LOUSY HUM AND STATIC AND ABOUT A 10 MINUTE WAIT FOR THEM TO TURN ON (GREEN TRANSMIT LIGHT) COMING ON OR GOING OFF AFTER SHUTDOWN. WHEN WORKING, TOO LOW VOLUME, OR STEADY HUM, AND WHEN NOT WORKING DEAFENING STATIC! I HAD THEM CONNECTED TO MY NEW VISIO HDTV’S AUDIO OUT, AND GOT HISSING AND A L*O*N*G WAIT TO EITHER START TRANSMITTING OR QUIT AFTER SHUT OFF. THEN I RECONNECTED TO THE COX CABLE BOX (SACOND SET OF RCA AUDIO OUTS) AND EVERYTHING NOW WORKS FINE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE ISSUE IS WITH USING THE TV’S OUTPUT (HAD TV VOLUME UP AND CHANGED (ON TV REMOTE) AUDIO OUTS TO “EXTERNAL” SPEAKERS (AS OPPOSED TO “INTERNAL”) OR TO “MIXED”. IT WORKS OK CONNECTED TO THE CABLE BOX…BUT NOT TO THE HDTV. ??? STILL THINK THIS PRODUCT SUCKS – LOUSY DOCUMENTATION! NO TROUBLESHOOTING ASSISTANCE!! AND I DON’T THINK THE HEADPHONES ARE THAT COMFORTABLE. I’D CHANGE MY RATING TO MAYBE 2 STARS, BUT ON EDITING, I CAN’T SEEM TO CHANGE FORM ONE, SO THAT’S IT. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE.

Yay! I got it! I plugged it in, turned it on and crystal clear I can hear my neighebor on the left hand side talking about his will with his attorney on one channel, and my neighbor on the right hand side ordereding capris in khaki on the other channel. Perfect… except I wanted to hear my music. I think it was in the next channel but can’t tell for sure under all that static.
1 star for getting my neighbors chordless phones, that may come in useful to someone sometime.
The headphones were comfortable and light. Batteries are contained within the headphones, so you have to replace batteries every so often. Static was huge issue, I can barely hear what I was supposed to hear and I was standing right over the base.
The base also very light, doesn’t even feel substantial enough to transmit anything.

Like everything else you might buy there will always be a flaw.
One side worked and not the other and didn’t want to take a chance
on another one. They were very good about my refund which made me happy.
